Japanese rice scrub powder 50 g

Why Fine Rice Powder Works Well for Gentle Skin Care

Japanese rice scrub powder in a compact 50 g package is a finely milled rice-based powder that has been used in traditional Asian beauty routines for generations. This small size is a practical choice for anyone wanting to test the ingredient at home, try it on their own skin first, or prepare a trial batch of a cosmetic formula before scaling up production. The product belongs to the Face Masks, Scrubs, and Dried Flowers section, which brings together natural ingredients for cleansing and refreshing the skin without harsh mechanical action.

The main function of rice powder is gentle exfoliation of dead skin cells and mild pore cleansing. Unlike coarse abrasive scrubs, rice powder has a soft, fine texture, making it suitable even for sensitive facial skin and the decollete area. The ingredient is widely used in the production of cleansing pastes, facial masks, peeling gels, and enzyme-based formulas. Beyond cosmetics, rice powder also finds use in the food industry as a thickening agent and in natural household care products for hands and body.

Rice scrub blends well with other natural abrasives and plant-based ingredients. Interesting textural combinations appear when mixing it with grape peel scrub, which adds a stronger exfoliating effect, or with oat powder scrub, known for its soothing properties on irritated skin. Such combinations allow formulators to create multifunctional recipes suited to different skin types.

The recommended dosage of rice powder in cosmetic formulations ranges from 10 to 30 percent of the total mixture weight, depending on the desired exfoliation intensity. It is best added at the final stage of preparation, in a cold or slightly warm phase, to preserve the powder's texture and avoid degradation from heat. The introduction temperature should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius. Store the product in a dry place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight, in a tightly sealed container to maintain its free-flowing texture and prevent clumping.

For those who need a larger volume for regular studio use or extended formula testing, the Japanese rice scrub powder 1 kg option offers better value for frequent use.

Soothing Rice and Green Tea Facial Polish

Rice scrub powder - 20 g

Brewed green tea, cooled - 15 ml

Aloe vera gel - 10 g

Sweet almond oil - 5 ml

Combine the rice powder with cooled green tea and stir until a thick paste forms, letting it rest for 3 minutes so the particles soften slightly. Add the aloe gel and almond oil, mixing until smooth. Apply to cleansed facial skin using gentle circular motions, avoiding the eye area, leave on for 5 to 8 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. Prepare this mixture fresh each time and do not store it for later use.
