White Liquid pigment 10 ml

Getting an Even, Solid White Tone in Handmade Candle and Craft Projects

A 10 ml bottle of white liquid pigment is a practical choice for makers who want to try out new candle, bath product, or cosmetic formulas in small test batches before scaling up. This compact size makes it easy to check how the pigment behaves in a specific base, fine-tune the dosage, and confirm color stability without committing to a large volume. The product belongs to the Pigments Liquid category, which includes formulas that do not migrate within a cured mass and keep their color even after the item has fully set.

The strongest demand for white pigment comes from candle production and cosmetics manufacturing. In clear bases it creates a frosted, porcelain-like look, while in opaque bases it neutralizes the natural yellowish tint of oils and butters, giving the final product a cleaner, brighter appearance. In candle making, the pigment is used to color paraffin, soy, and palm wax, producing a solid white finish without streaks or uneven patches. It is also popular for bath bomb bases as a light neutral layer for further decoration, as well as in slime, polymer clay, and epoxy resin projects, where white is often used as a foundation for marbled or layered designs.

Dosage depends on the density and purpose of the finished item, but generally ranges from 0.5 to 3 grams per 100 grams of base. For a fully opaque white finish in darker or semi-transparent bases, the amount can be increased gradually while checking results on a test sample. The pigment should be added once the base is melted but still fluid - around 60-70 degrees Celsius for wax blends, and roughly 65-75 degrees for bases melted over a double boiler. Thorough mixing is essential to avoid streaks or uneven specks in the finished product.

White pigment blends well with other liquid dyes, helping to create softer, pastel tones by diluting more saturated colors. For instance, mixing a small amount of white into Sea breeze liquid dye produces a gentle, muted turquoise shade, while combining it with Pigment dye Lilac gives a soft lavender tone instead of a bold purple. For marbled effects, white is often paired with darker pigments, such as Black Agate liquid pigment ultra, resulting in smoky gray swirls across the surface of candles or crafts.

Store the pigment in a tightly closed bottle, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, at room temperature. Under these conditions the product retains stable color and consistent performance over an extended period. Shake the bottle gently before use to prevent any separation of the formula.

Marbled Bath Bomb with a White Core

Baking soda 100 g

Citric acid 50 g

Corn starch 30 g

Sweet almond oil 15 ml

White liquid pigment 1 g

Witch hazel spray as needed

Mix the baking soda, citric acid, and corn starch thoroughly in a dry bowl, breaking up any lumps. Warm the almond oil slightly and stir in the white pigment until fully blended, then combine this mixture into the dry ingredients. Lightly spritz the mixture with witch hazel while kneading until it holds its shape when pressed. Pack the mixture firmly into a bath bomb mold, let it sit for a few minutes, then carefully unmold and allow it to air-dry for 24 hours before use.
