Slowly sprinkle the Xanthan Gum over the surface of the water while stirring vigorously (using a whisk or mini-mixer) to prevent clumping. Continue stirring until the gum is fully dispersed and the mixture starts to thicken into a gel. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes to fully hydrate.
2. Prepare Phase B: In a separate small beaker, combine Glycerin and Pink Cosmetic Glitter. Stir well until the glitter is thoroughly incorporated into the glycerin, forming a smooth, glittery slurry. This helps prevent glitter from clumping in the final product.
3. Combine Phases: Slowly add the glitter-glycerin slurry from Phase B into the gel base from Phase A, stirring continuously until the glitter is evenly distributed throughout the gel.
4. Add Phase C: Once the gel is uniform, add the Liquid Germall Plus (preservative). If using a fragrance oil, mix it first with Polysorbate 20 (solubilizer) in a separate drop, then add the solubilized fragrance to the gel. Stir gently until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
5. Finalize: Transfer the finished glitter body gel into a clean, airtight container (e.g., a pump bottle or jar).
