Beyond beauty applications, squalane is widely used in pharmaceutical manufacturing as an ointment base and as a component of certain injectable formulations and vaccine adjuvants, and in technical industries it serves as a precision lubricant for watches, optical instruments and delicate mechanisms thanks to its stability and non-sticky feel.

Essential oil of geranium 5 drops

Combine squalane, rosehip oil and evening primrose oil in a clean glass bottle, gently warming the mixture to about 35 degrees Celsius to ease blending. Add vitamin E and the essential oil of geranium, then shake the bottle thoroughly until the blend looks uniform. Let the mixture rest for a few hours at room temperature before use to allow the aroma to settle, then apply a few drops to cleansed skin each evening.
