Instructions for Preparation:

First Step: Combine the solid Shea Butter, OLIVDERM, and the Olive-derived Emulsifier in a clean, heat-safe beaker (Oil Phase). Combine the Distilled Water and Glycerin in a separate beaker (Water Phase).

Second Step: Heat both phases in a double boiler until the emulsifier and Shea Butter are fully melted in the Oil Phase and both phases reach a consistent temperature of approximately seventy-five degrees Celsius (75°C).

Third Step: Slowly pour the hot Water Phase into the Oil Phase while stirring continuously with an immersion blender or high-shear mixer. Blend until a stable, creamy emulsion is formed.

Fourth Step: Remove the emulsion from the heat and continue stirring occasionally until the lotion cools down to approximately forty degrees Celsius (40°C). The OLIVDERM will contribute to the elegant texture during the cooling process.

Fifth Step: Add the Preservative. Stir gently for one minute until fully integrated.

Sixth Step: Transfer the finished lotion into a suitable container, such as an airless pump bottle or jar.
