The oil phase is prepared by combining the oils, squalane, caprylic triglycerides and cetearyl alcohol and heating until homogeneous. Nizasilk is incorporated into the lipid phase and mixed until evenly distributed. In a separate vessel purified water and glycerin are blended to prepare the aqueous phase. Both phases are combined under intensive mixing to form a stable emulsion. After cooling the preservative system is introduced and mixing continues until uniform. The pH is adjusted to a balanced level suitable for emulsion stability. The final formulation forms a lightweight oxygen emulsion with smooth texture.
