Liposomal Hyaluronate Complex for Deep Skin Hydration
Hilurlip is a concentrated active complex where hyaluronic acid molecules are enclosed within lipid shells similar to liposomes. This encapsulation technology allows the active substance to penetrate into deeper layers of the epidermis rather than remaining on the surface, as often happens with plain hyaluronic acid. This ingredient belongs to the category Hyaluronic Acid and Actives for Cosmetic, which brings together different molecular forms of this substance for cosmetic manufacturing at any scale.
The primary use of Hilurlip lies in the production of serums, ampoules, creams, emulsions, and concentrates for facial and eye area care. The liposomal shell protects the active substance from degradation during storage and facilitates its transport through the skin's lipid barrier, making the hydrating and firming effect more noticeable compared to unbound hyaluronic acid. The ingredient is also widely used in face masks, hand creams, after-sun products, and formulations designed for sensitive, dryness-prone skin.
Hilurlip should be added at the final stage of formulation, once the emulsion temperature has dropped below 40 degrees Celsius, to avoid damaging the lipid structures through overheating. The typical working dosage ranges from 1 to 3 percent of the total product mass, depending on the desired concentration of the active substance and the type of finished form. This component pairs well with panthenol, aloe extracts, niacinamide, and plant oils, and can be combined with other molecular weights of hyaluronic acid to build a multi-layer hydration effect - for example, with Low Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid for surface-level action and High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid for forming a protective film on the skin.
The 2 g packaging is well suited for home-based cosmetic making and for testing small trial batches before scaling a formula up to larger production volumes. This quantity is typically enough to prepare several bottles of serum or cream, allowing formulators to evaluate texture and stability without excessive costs. To broaden the range of active ingredients in a formulation, it is also worth considering Hyaluronic Acid HySilk, which complements the action of the liposomal form.
Hilurlip should be stored in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight, in tightly sealed packaging, avoiding temperature fluctuations and moisture exposure so the liposomal structures remain intact until use.
Lightweight Hydrating Facial Gel with Liposomal Hyaluronate
Distilled water 65 ml
Aloe vera juice 10 ml
Glycerin 4 ml
Xanthan gum 0.3 g
Hilurlip 1 g
Broad spectrum preservative 1 ml
Combine
the distilled water with aloe vera juice, then gradually sprinkle in the
xanthan gum while stirring continuously to prevent clumping, and let the
mixture rest for 15 minutes until fully hydrated. Add the glycerin and mix
until smooth. Once the mixture has cooled below 35 degrees Celsius, blend in
the Hilurlip and preservative, stirring gently until fully incorporated.
Transfer the finished gel into a clean jar and let it stabilize for 24 hours
before first use.
