Product Description
Nizasilk perfluorocarbon liquid ingredient for cosmetic formulations
Nizasilk is a cosmetic ingredient based on perfluorocarbon compounds. Perfluorocarbon molecules are created by replacing hydrogen atoms in organic structures with fluorine atoms. This transformation produces highly stable weakly polar liquids known for their ability to dissolve large amounts of gases including oxygen.
The raw material appears as a clear or slightly opalescent liquid with neutral odor. Nizasilk is chemically stable and compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients. The material is typically incorporated into the oil phase of cosmetic emulsions or lipid based formulations. Due to its low polarity the ingredient distributes evenly within emulsion structures.
Properties and skin performance
In cosmetic formulations Nizasilk contributes to smooth texture and balanced sensory properties. Products containing this ingredient spread easily and maintain uniform consistency.
Industry applications
Nizasilk is used in creams, serums and emulsion based skincare formulations. It is incorporated into facial products, eye area formulations and cosmetic products for sensitive skin.
The ingredient is also used in post shave cosmetics, SPA formulations and functional skincare systems. Due to its stability it is suitable for private label development and contract manufacturing.
Formula example lightweight cosmetic emulsion
Nizasilk 35 ml
Caprylic triglycerides 50 ml
Macadamia oil 40 ml
Squalane 35 ml
Plant derived emulsifier 18 g
Glycerin 45 g
Purified water 800 ml
Preservative system 2 g
The oil phase is prepared by combining the oils, squalane, caprylic triglycerides and emulsifier and heating until homogeneous. Nizasilk is incorporated into the lipid phase and mixed until evenly distributed. In a separate vessel purified water and glycerin are blended to prepare the aqueous phase. Both phases are combined under intensive mixing to form a stable emulsion. After cooling the preservative system is added and mixing continues until uniform. The pH is adjusted to a balanced level suitable for emulsion stability. The final formulation forms a lightweight cosmetic emulsion with smooth texture.
Nizasilk is widely used by B2B cosmetic manufacturers developing advanced functional formulations. The ingredient provides formulation stability, compatibility with industrial processing and reproducible performance in scalable cosmetic production.
