Sodium laureth sulfate 170 kg

Sodium Laureth Sulfate for active cleansing and washing formulations

Sodium Laureth Sulfate is an anionic surfactant widely used in production of cleansing products for skin, hair and household washing applications. The ingredient integrates easily into water based formulations, provides stable foam formation and is suitable for serial and industrial scale production due to its versatile performance.

Properties and skin appearance outcome

Sodium Laureth Sulfate creates abundant stable foam evenly distributed across skin and hair, providing a clean feeling after use. Products rinse easily, leaving a fresh sensation while maintaining dense texture perception during application.

Application across industries

The ingredient is commonly used in shampoos, shower gels, facial cleansers, liquid soaps, hand washing products and household cleaning formulations. Sodium Laureth Sulfate is widely applied in private label and contract manufacturing thanks to formulation stability and compatibility with other surfactants.

The ingredient is incorporated to create active foam, enhance cleansing performance and stabilize final product texture. It blends well with various surfactant systems while maintaining product stability.

Recipe for universal cleansing gel formulation

Purified water 65 ml
Sodium Laureth Sulfate 25 ml
Cocamidopropyl Betaine 6 ml
Glycerin 2 ml
Preservative 2 ml

To prepare the gel, Sodium Laureth Sulfate is gradually incorporated into water under mixing until a uniform base forms. Cocamidopropyl Betaine and glycerin are then added followed by preservative while mixing continues until stable texture is achieved. The resulting gel produces active foam, spreads comfortably across skin and maintains stability during storage.

Sodium Laureth Sulfate is positioned for B2B formulation development supporting reproducible textures, versatile cleansing systems and efficient industrial scale production.
