Citric Acid 100 g

Citric Acid for pH regulation and formulation stability

Citric Acid is an organic acid widely used in cosmetic systems as a pH regulator and supporting stabilizing ingredient. The raw material is supplied in crystalline powder form, highly soluble in water and suitable for precise dosing in laboratory and industrial environments. Citric Acid is incorporated into aqueous, gel and emulsion formulations where accurate acidity adjustment and system stability are required.

Properties and skin appearance outcome

Within cosmetic formulations Citric Acid helps maintain a balanced formulation environment and supports a clean finished appearance. When properly dosed it contributes to a fresh sensory impression while preserving clarity and structural stability of the product.

Application across industries

Citric Acid is used in toners, gels, shampoos, creams and cleansing systems. The ingredient is suitable for private label projects, contract manufacturing and serial cosmetic production. It enables precise pH control and supports compatibility of active components.

Recipe for a balancing facial toner

Purified water 94 g
Glycerin 3 g
Niacinamide 2 g
Citric Acid 0.5 g
Preservative 0.5 g

To prepare the toner glycerin and niacinamide are dissolved in purified water under agitation. Citric Acid is pre dissolved in a small portion of water and gradually added while monitoring pH until the desired level is achieved. The preservative is then incorporated and mixing continues until full stabilization. The finished product is allowed to settle before filling.

Citric Acid is positioned for B2B use in stable cosmetic systems with predictable characteristics, supporting formulation control and scalable private label production.
