Product Description
Bright Yellow Pigment Built for High-Volume Candle Runs
This yellow candle dye comes in a 100 gram pack designed for workshops and small production lines that need a reliable, repeatable shade across multiple batches of wax. A pack of this size suits makers who pour candles regularly and want to avoid reordering dye after every single melt. The product belongs to the Candle colorants category, which brings together pigments suitable for paraffin, soy, palm and coconut waxes as well as stearin blends.
Beyond classic candle making, yellow pigment is widely used in related fields such as coloring decorative wax pieces, wax floristry elements, craft embellishments and even wax strips for hair removal, where even color distribution without bleeding into surrounding materials matters. The dye is added while the wax is melted, typically at 70 to 85 degrees Celsius, and should be stirred thoroughly until the particles fully dissolve to avoid streaking or uneven color in the finished piece. Dosage is usually determined through testing: a small amount gives a soft lemon tone, while a stronger amber-yellow shade requires a larger quantity. It is always worth pouring a small test sample before committing to a full batch, since the final result depends on wax type, added fragrance and cooling speed.
Yellow pairs naturally with other shades when building gradient or layered candles. For warm honey and amber effects it works well alongside Dark Yellow Wax Dye for Candles, while for bold multicolor designs it can be combined with Violet candle dye to create striking transitions in decorative and gift candles. A smaller 5 gram pack such as Dark Green Wax Dye for Candles is convenient for fine-tuning the shade or adding accent details to the main yellow batch.
Store the dye in a tightly sealed container, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to prevent clumping and preserve color strength over time. Under proper storage conditions the pigment retains stable performance for extended periods, which matters for producers who stock up on raw materials several months ahead.
