Consistent Yellow Tone Formulated for Large-Volume Candle Manufacturing
A one kilogram package of candle dye is built for production lines, workshops handling steady order flows, and studios that need color repeatability from batch to batch. This item belongs to the section Candle colorants, which brings together pigments of different concentration for tinting paraffin, soy, palm and coconut wax, gel and stearin. Yellow pigment is in demand not only in decorative candle making but also in creating scented home decor pieces, souvenir items, and gift sets produced for retail and corporate orders.
The main purpose of this pigment is to give wax a stable yellow shade without altering the structure or melting point of the finished piece. The dye dissolves well in melted wax at a temperature range of 70 to 85 degrees Celsius, so it should be introduced at this stage, right after the raw material is fully melted and before adding fragrance oil. This sequence allows the pigment to spread evenly through the whole volume and prevents streaks or clumps from forming on the surface of the cooled candle. Dosage is adjusted depending on the desired color intensity and the type of wax used: a small amount is enough for a soft pastel tone, while a deeper, richer color requires a higher concentration, best confirmed with a small test pour before starting the main batch.
In manufacturing settings this dye is valued for delivering consistent results when working with large volumes of melted wax - a producer can calculate exact dosage for the entire technological cycle without worrying about shade mismatch between different candle batches. The kilogram pack size fits conveyor-style production where output is measured in hundreds or thousands of units, as well as workshops fulfilling wholesale orders for decor shops and gift retailers.
Yellow pigment blends well with other shades from the same colorant line, opening up possibilities for gradient candles, layered designs and custom color mixes. For instance, to achieve warm orange or amber tones, manufacturers often combine this yellow dye with a small amount of red pigment found in Red Wax Dye for Candles 5 g, while green shades are achieved by blending it with the blue dye from Blue candle dye 100 g. For decorative effects that glow under ultraviolet light, some producers add Fluorescent Pink Wax Dye for Candles 5 g to selected decorative sections of a candle.
The dye should be stored in a tightly closed container, in a dry space away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to prevent early clumping and loss of color depth. Under proper storage conditions the product keeps its working properties for a long time and can be used in small portions as needed, which is convenient for ongoing production schedules.
Golden Meadow Palm Wax Candles
Palm wax 1000 g
Yellow candle dye 3 g
Lemongrass or citrus fragrance oil 28 ml
Cotton wick sized to container
Vybar additive 15 g
Melt the palm wax together with the Vybar additive in a double boiler until fully liquid, bring the temperature to around 82 degrees Celsius, then add the dye gradually while stirring steadily until the color is fully even throughout the mixture. Let the blend cool to about 65 degrees, mix in the fragrance oil, stir once more, and pour into prepared containers with the wick already centered and secured. Leave the candles to set at room temperature for at least ten hours undisturbed, then trim the wick to about one centimeter before first use.
