Bright Daylight Signal Color Built for Bulk Manufacturing Runs
Fluorescent pigment orange supplied in a 1 kg package is designed for facilities that need a reliable source of intense daylight glow across large production volumes - plastics processing plants, printing lines, and workshops producing safety gear or promotional items. This pigment belongs to the Fluorescent Pigments category, which brings together compounds capable of producing an intense neon-like glow that ordinary colorants cannot replicate.
The strongest global demand for pigments of this kind comes from industrial coloring of plastics and polymers - PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, and ABS - during extrusion or injection molding, as well as from printing ink manufacturing for flexographic and screen printing. Another major segment is safety and signal products: traffic cones, life jackets, high-visibility clothing elements, and fishing lures and tackle, where a vivid color is essential for underwater or roadside visibility. The pigment is also used in resin flooring, decorative resin castings, candles, and various consumer goods requiring a saturated neon accent. In decorative cosmetics it appears in bright eyeshadow bases, nail lacquers, and body-art formulas, and in soap crafting it can serve as a striking decorative accent, though that remains a minor use compared to industrial applications.
The pigment disperses well in wax, paraffin, polymer resins, epoxy and polyester compositions, as well as oil- and alcohol-based carriers. It does not dissolve but forms an even suspension, so thorough mixing at the introduction stage is essential. A typical dosage ranges from 0.5 to 3 percent of the base mass depending on the desired glow intensity and the density of the material - for industrial batches it is worth testing the concentration on a small sample first to lock in a precise formula for subsequent runs.
It is best introduced while the base is liquid or molten but has not yet reached critical temperatures: for wax and paraffin compositions this is typically around 60-80 degrees Celsius, while for polymer melts the manufacturer's processing regulations should be followed, since excessive overheating can dull the glow. After introduction, the mixture should be stirred thoroughly until uniform before pouring or molding continues.
When working with large batches, orange fluorescent pigment is often combined with other vivid shades to expand a product color range - for instance with Fluorescent Pigment Pink for contrasting signal product lines, with Fluorescent pigment Violet HT 807 for gradient effects in decorative resins, and with Fluorescent pigment Red orange HP 14 for warmer, deeper tones in lure or marker product lines.
Store the pigment in a tightly sealed container, in a dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources, since prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light and moisture gradually reduces glow intensity. The 1 kg package is intended for regular conveyor-style manufacturing and helps keep color consistent from batch to batch without frequent reordering of small packs.
Bulk-batch neon resin safety tags
Clear polyester casting resin 1000 ml
Hardener 20 ml
Fluorescent pigment orange 6 g
Flat silicone tag molds
Measure
the resin and hardener into a clean container and stir slowly to avoid trapping
air, then take a small portion of the mixture and blend the pigment into it
thoroughly until no clumps remain. Combine this colored portion back into the
main batch, stir until the color is fully even, and pour into the tag molds,
letting them cure undisturbed at room temperature for the time specified by the
resin manufacturer before demolding.
