Bright Pink Glow for Small-Batch Craft Projects
A 5-gram pack of pink fluorescent pigment is designed for makers who want to test a vivid neon shade on a small scale before committing to a larger production run. This compact format works well for home crafters, beginner resin artists, slime makers, nail technicians, and polymer clay hobbyists who need to sample a color before scaling up. This pigment belongs to the Fluorescent Pigments category, which brings together vivid colorants that glow intensely in daylight and react even more dramatically under UV light.
The largest global demand for fluorescent pigments today comes from epoxy resin art, jewelry casting, keychains, and decorative interior pieces with a glowing finish. The pigment is also widely used in slime and sensory toy manufacturing, where a bold neon color is the main selling point. In the nail industry, similar pigments go into gel polishes and UV-reactive nail art designs. Crafters use pink fluorescent pigment to color polymer clay, acrylic paints, decorative candles, and festive decor items. Less commonly, it also appears in household chemical products for visual branding and in candle making for glow-effect decorative candles.
The pigment should be introduced while the base material is still liquid or semi-liquid and easy to blend. For epoxy resin, the ideal temperature for mixing in the pigment is room temperature, around 20-25 degrees Celsius, with thorough stirring until no clumps remain and color distribution is even. For polymer clay and wax-based materials, the pigment is worked in mechanically without heating. A typical dosage ranges from 0.1 to 1 gram per 100 grams of base, though the exact amount depends on the desired color intensity and the transparency of the final piece — lower amounts work for translucent effects, while higher concentrations give a solid opaque color.
Pink fluorescent pigment blends well with other shades from the same line, allowing gradients and layered effects. It pairs nicely with Fluorescent Blue Pigment 50 g for creating contrasting neon transitions in resin castings, and with White Fluorescent Pigment 5 g for softening the saturation and achieving a pastel pink tone. Another interesting combination is with Pigment liquid fluorescent Red 10 ml, which allows smooth adjustment toward a warmer pink-red spectrum thanks to its liquid form that is easy to dose precisely.
Store the pigment in a dry place away from direct sunlight, in a tightly sealed container, to prevent moisture and dust contamination. Under proper storage conditions the pigment retains its color stability and glow intensity for a long time. Before starting a project, it is recommended to test the pigment's compatibility with the chosen base on a small sample, especially when working with an unfamiliar resin or polymer type.
Pink Neon Resin Pendant
Clear epoxy resin 45 ml
Hardener 22 ml
Pink fluorescent pigment 0.3 g
Decorative fine glitter 0.7 g
Silicone pendant mold 1 piece
Mix
the resin and hardener in the stated ratio, stirring thoroughly for about three
minutes until fully combined. Add the pink fluorescent pigment in small
portions, scraping the sides of the container to avoid clumps, then mix in the
glitter and stir again. Pour the finished mixture into the silicone mold,
remove air bubbles with a toothpick, and leave to cure at room temperature for
24 hours away from dust and drafts.
