Bright Neon Orange That Performs Beyond Craft Projects
This orange fluorescent pigment supplied in a 50 g pack finds its widest demand not only in hobby crafts but in industrial and commercial applications - resin casting, polymer manufacturing, paints and coatings, signage, safety markings, textile printing and molded plastic items all rely on fluorescent pigments for high-visibility, daylight-bright color. The pigment glows strongly under UV light and reads noticeably more saturated in ordinary daylight compared to standard colorants, which is why it is a common choice for safety gear, promotional items and decorative resin work. This shade belongs to the Fluorescent Pigments category, which brings together intense neon tones known for good fade resistance and compatibility with many carrier systems.
Physically the pigment is a fine powder meant to be dispersed into epoxy and polyester resins, acrylic paints, silicone compounds, candle wax, and occasionally into soap bases or cosmetic emulsions when a bold neon accent is needed. In clear resin and polymer work, typical dosage runs from about 0.5 to 3 percent of the total batch weight, with the exact amount depending on how intense the final color and how transparent the piece should remain. The best moment to add the pigment is while the base is still liquid and has not begun to thicken, at room temperature or a gently warmed mixture, which helps avoid clumping and gives an even color spread. It is good practice to first blend the pigment into a small portion of the base to form a smooth paste before folding it into the full batch.
In color cosmetics, this orange tone shows up in glitter gels, nail lacquers, body art products and occasionally in soap making for neon speckled effects. For layered or gradient looks it pairs naturally with other bold shades from the same range, such as Fluorescent pigment Red, 50 g or Pink Fluorescent Pigment 50 g, giving smooth color transitions across resin pieces or decorative layers. For thinner formulations and precise drop-by-drop dosing, the liquid Pink Fluorescent Pigment 10 ml is a convenient alternative.
The 50 g size fits small workshops, studio-scale runs and recipe testing before scaling up production - this amount is enough for dozens of trial batches of resin, candles or small decorative pieces while fine-tuning the right color strength. Store the pigment in a tightly sealed container, in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, since contact with water reduces the fluorescent brightness over time. The pigment does not dissolve in water, so aqueous systems require pre-dispersion or blending with glycerin or oil before use.
Neon Gradient Resin Coaster
Clear epoxy resin 100 g
Hardener 50 g
Orange fluorescent pigment 1 g
Pink fluorescent pigment 0.5 g
Mix
the resin with the hardener following the manufacturer ratio, then split the
mixture into two portions. Blend the orange pigment into one portion and the
pink pigment into the other, stirring each until fully smooth. Pour the first
colored layer into a mold and let it set partially for 20-30 minutes, then
slowly pour the second layer so the colors blend into a soft gradient. Leave
the piece to cure at room temperature for at least 24 hours before carefully
removing it from the mold.
