Bulk D-Panthenol for regenerating skincare and pharmaceutical formulas
D-Panthenol supplied in a 1 liter volume is a concentrated raw material designed for laboratories and manufacturing facilities producing skincare, pharmaceutical preparations, and everyday care products in large batches. This compound, known for converting into pantothenic acid within the skin, is widely used not only in cosmetics but also in the pharmaceutical industry for ointments, topical creams, after-sun and after-burn preparations, as well as in veterinary products for animal skin care. This packaging size suits manufacturers who need dependable supply volumes without frequent reordering of small quantities.
D-Panthenol belongs to the category of moisturizing actives, which brings together ingredients that retain moisture in the upper skin layers and support barrier recovery. In the production of creams, lotions, emulsions, and serums, panthenol is introduced at the final stage into the water phase at temperatures not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius to prevent degradation of the active compound under heat. Recommended dosage typically ranges from 1 to 5 percent of the total formula weight, depending on the desired outcome — light hydration or pronounced recovery after aggressive treatments.
At industrial scale, panthenol is frequently combined with other moisturizing and repairing ingredients to enhance the overall effect. It pairs well with urea, which acts as a natural moisturizing factor and helps retain water in the stratum corneum. For a more pronounced anti-aging effect, formulas are often supplemented with peptide complexes such as Exo-P Peptide, while Glycoderm™ (P) is commonly added to reinforce the skin barrier and improve tissue density.
Panthenol is used in face and body creams, after-sun products, formulas for sensitive and irritated skin, baby care lines, hair and scalp treatments, as well as household chemical products and animal care items. It is compatible with most emulsifiers, thickeners, plant oils, and botanical extracts, making it a versatile ingredient for nearly any water-based formula. The one liter packaging is well suited for conveyor-line production, small-batch studios handling larger order volumes, and companies that require predictable raw material supply.
Store panthenol in a tightly closed container, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to maintain the stability of the active compound throughout its shelf life.

Transfer the finished lotion into clean containers and allow it to fully stabilize before sealing.
