A gentle solution for testing stable emulsions before scaling up
Amisol Trio in a 5 ml pack is a compact way to try out an emulsifying complex before committing to a larger batch. This small volume is well suited for lab trials, formula development, and getting familiar with the ingredient before ordering it in bigger quantities. This product belongs to the Emulsifiers
category, which brings together components responsible for binding water and oil phases into one stable, uniform system.
The main use of this emulsifier is in the production of light cosmetic emulsions: fluids, cream-gels, serums, and lotions with a delicate, weightless texture that absorbs quickly. Thanks to its mild surfactant action, the complex works well in formulas aimed at sensitive skin, including baby care products, everyday moisturizers, and after-shave or post-depilation treatments. Beyond cosmetics, similar emulsifying systems are used in developing barrier protective formulations and in certain household emulsion products where stability across temperature changes and minimal stickiness matter.
Amisol Trio is added to the oil phase during the heating stage, typically at a temperature between 70 and 80 degrees Celsius, together with other fatty components such as oils, wax-like substances, and thickeners. Once the mixture is uniform, the oil phase is combined with the water phase, pre-heated to the same temperature, under constant stirring until the droplets are evenly dispersed. A recommended usage level is usually between 3 and 6 percent of the total emulsion weight, though the exact amount should be tested experimentally depending on oil content and desired texture.
This emulsifier pairs well with other stabilizing and thickening ingredients. For instance, it can be combined with AquaEm, 50 ml to reinforce stability in the water phase, or with UniDerm 50 ml when the formula needs extra softness and a more comfortable skin feel. To give the texture a silky glide and reduce any tackiness, formulators often add silicone-type components such as Raspberry Dimethicone WS, 50 ml, incorporated into the finished emulsion at the final stage.
Store the product in a tightly closed container, in a dry place at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Once opened, it is best to use the contents within a reasonable timeframe, keeping moisture and foreign particles out of the bottle.
Lightweight facial serum-cream
Amisol Trio 3 g
Sweet almond oil 6 g
Cetyl Alcohol 2 g
AquaEm 2 g
Distilled water 83 g
Glycerin 3 g
Fragrance oil 1 g
Heat
the oil phase containing the emulsifier, cetyl alcohol, and almond oil on a
water bath to 75 degrees Celsius until fully melted. Separately heat the water
and glycerin to the same temperature, then slowly pour the water phase into the
oil phase while stirring continuously with a mixer for about five minutes. Once
the mixture cools to around 40 degrees, add the fragrance oil, stir for another
minute, and transfer the finished serum-cream into a clean jar.
