Getting reliable emulsions right from a small trial batch
Natura Tec Emulactive ISO in a 25 g pack is aimed at formulators who want to test a recipe before scaling up, and at anyone preparing skincare in small home batches. This non-ionic emulsifier belongs to the category of emulsifiers
and is responsible for binding the water and oil phases together in creams, lotions, balms and body milks. The main field where this raw material is used is skincare manufacturing, where such emulsifiers are valued for their ease of incorporation and their ability to form stable systems even at moderate heating temperatures.
Emulactive ISO functions as a self-emulsifying system, which simplifies the production process since no separate co-emulsifier or additional thickener is needed to achieve a stable texture. The component is typically added to the oil phase at around 70-75 degrees Celsius, after which the oil and water phases are combined and homogenized until smooth. The recommended dosage ranges from 3 to 6 percent of the total formula weight, depending on the desired density of the emulsion and the oil content. For lighter textures such as body milk, the dosage is kept toward the lower end, while richer night creams call for a higher percentage.
This emulsifier pairs well with vegetable oils, cocoa butter, shea butter, silicones and natural thickeners. For softer, silkier emulsions it is frequently combined with another product from the same line, Natura Tec Emulactive W 25 g, which helps balance a light application feel with a nourishing finish. This combination is often used in day creams and recovery formulas where fast absorption needs to go hand in hand with a pampered skin sensation.
The 25 g size is well suited for trial batches and home-based cosmetic production, since it is enough for several test creams weighing between 100 and 200 g each, allowing a formula to be refined before committing to larger purchases. Once a recipe has been validated and the same small volume needs to be reordered, the option Emul-active Iso 25 g covers that need, while an even smaller experimental run can be handled with Emul-active Iso 20 g.
Store the emulsifier in a dry place at room temperature, in a tightly sealed container, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Under proper storage conditions the product retains its declared properties throughout the shelf life specified by the manufacturer. Beyond basic face and body care, the component is also used in hand creams, sun protection emulsions and lip balms, where texture stability across different application temperatures matters most.
Light body lotion for daily use

Sweet almond oil 9 g
Coconut oil fractionated 6 g
Natura Tec Emulactive ISO 5 g
Glycerin 4 g
Liquid vitamin E 2 g
