A warming spice-fruit concentrate built for active skincare formulas
CO2 Mango Ginger Extract is produced through carbon dioxide extraction, a method that preserves the active compounds of ginger root and mango pulp without heat damage or solvent residues. This is exactly why the technology is valued across the cosmetic industry - it delivers a stable, concentrated ingredient with predictable performance from batch to batch. This concentrate belongs to the CO2 Extracts section, which brings together concentrates used for professional formulation of skin, hair and body care products.
The primary use of ginger-mango extract is in body care formulas: creams and serums for tired or problem-prone skin, massage products, warming balms and scalp care compositions. The warming action of ginger makes it a popular ingredient in sports cosmetics and products for massage studios, while the fruit acids naturally present in mango pulp act as a gentle component for skin texture and renewal in creams and masks. In perfumery, ginger-mango notes are used as a base for oriental and fruity accords, and in scented household chemistry products they contribute a warm, spicy-fruity character to fragrance compositions.
Typical dosage in finished formulas ranges from 0.3 to 2 grams per 100 grams of product, with the exact concentration adjusted according to the desired intensity of effect and the type of base. The extract should be added during the cooling stage of an emulsion, at a temperature no higher than 40 degrees, to preserve volatile and heat-sensitive compounds. It combines well with vegetable oils, emulsifiers, other CO2 concentrates and natural antioxidants.
From the CO2 extract range, a good partner for multi-component formulas is Licorice CO2 Extract, which softens irritation and balances the warming action of ginger. For calming and restorative formulas, formulators often add Bidens CO2 Extract, while Artichoke CO2 Extract is a common choice for compositions targeting skin imperfections and sebum control.
The 5 gram packaging is convenient for home cosmetic making and small trial batches, when it is important to test the concentration and compatibility of the extract in a formula before scaling up to a larger production run. Store the product in a tightly closed container, in a cool dark place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures, so the extract retains its activity for as long as possible.
