Sweet Grass Concentrate for Beverage, Fragrance and Food Manufacturing
Sweet Grass Extract Concentrate in a 1 liter volume is designed for producers who need consistent aroma across large production batches. Sweet grass, known for its distinctive coumarin scent reminiscent of freshly cut hay with warm vanilla and herbal undertones, is valued across several industries at once. This concentrate belongs to the wider catalog of extract concentrates used by beverage manufacturers, fragrance houses, confectionery producers and cosmetic labs.
The strongest global demand for sweet grass extract comes from the beverage industry, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. This concentrate forms the base of flavored vodkas, liqueurs, herbal bitters and syrups, and it is also used in kvass and other traditional drinks with a grassy flavor profile. In food production it goes into confectionery, tea blends and desserts where a recognizable steppe-herb aroma is needed. In fragrance work, sweet grass serves as a natural alternative to synthetic coumarin, adding warmth and depth to compositions, which is why perfumers often pair it with vetiver, lavender, tobacco and woody accords.
In cosmetic manufacturing sweet grass extract is used less frequently but with noticeable effect: it appears in toning lotions, hair strengthening treatments and anti-cellulite creams thanks to its refreshing and firming properties on skin. When building multi-component serums or lotion lines, sweet grass blends well with other botanical concentrates, such as Calendula Extract Concentrate for a soothing effect, Aloe Vera Extract Concentrate for hydration, and Rose Extract Concentrate to soften the overall scent of the finished formula.
Recommended dosage depends on the industry: beverages and syrups typically use 1 to 5 ml of concentrate per liter of finished product, fragrance compositions call for 0.5 to 3 percent of the total blend weight, and cosmetic formulas usually require 0.3 to 2 percent of the recipe mass. The extract should be added at the final production stage, once the base mixture has cooled below 40 degrees, to preserve the volatile aromatic compounds. The concentrate mixes readily with ethanol, glycerin, propylene glycol and most food-grade bases, making it easy to combine with other extracts and flavoring agents.
The large 1 liter format is intended for production lines, bottling facilities, perfumery workshops and confectionery plants that need consistent aroma across large batches and reliable supply of raw material. Store the concentrate in a tightly sealed dark glass or plastic container, in a dry room at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to keep the aroma stable throughout the shelf life.
