Ercasorb MO V (INCI: Sorbitan Oleate) is a plant-derived, non-PEG emulsifier designed to create stable water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions for natural, organic, and sensitive skincare. Its mild nature, biodegradability, and compatibility with active ingredients make it ideal for modern clean beauty applications.

This ingredient is widely used in:

Sample formulation

Purified water – 65 g
Glycerin – 3 g
Ercasorb MO V – 4 g
Macadamia oil – 10 g
Coco Glucoside – 5 g
Panthenol – 1 g
Preservative – as needed
Heat both phases to 70–75 °C, emulsify, and cool to 40 °C before adding heat-sensitive actives.
