Combine the almond oil, shea butter and Olivem 1000 in the oil phase and heat to 72 degrees Celsius over a water bath, while separately warming the water and glycerin to the same temperature. Slowly pour the water phase into the oil phase while stirring continuously, then homogenize the mixture until smooth and cool it gradually to 40 degrees Celsius. Add the preservative and essential oil, stir for a few more minutes, and pour the finished lotion into clean containers.
