Properties	Permulgin 3279 is a mineral wax of the ozocerite type, consisting of paraffin, isoparaffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons with a carbon chain length of about 2 to 8.5 mm, C20 and C70. Permulgin 3279 combines the benefits of paraffin waxes and microcrystalline waxes. When combined with mineral and natural oils, it forms a strong gel network with high capacity, resulting in excellent oil binding properties.
Purpose	In pencil formulations, Permulgin 3279 acts as an oil gelling agent and improves texture. Waxes themselves make the structure brittle, while ozocerite reduces the brittleness and fragility of the finished product, making it more plastic. Ozokerite also helps to create gel-like structures, the so-called transparent and translucent gel-like balms. Combines especially well with sucrose stearate, making beautiful and very pleasant gel waterless make-up remover products
