Product Description
Volufiline active for skin softness and density enhancing formulations
Volufiline is a cosmetic active derived from the extract of Gardenia asiatica, a plant traditionally used in care practices to maintain attractive skin appearance. In modern formulations the ingredient is applied to improve visual skin smoothness and create a perception of denser and well maintained skin.
The active integrates easily into creams, serums and emulsion systems and supports stable product textures suitable for both industrial and small batch cosmetic production.
Properties and skin appearance outcome
Products containing Volufiline contribute to a feeling of more comfortable and refined skin after application. Textures appear richer while skin looks smoother and better maintained.
In facial and body care formulations the ingredient helps create the perception of more harmonious skin contours. With regular use formulations provide a cosmetic impression of improved skin softness and density without heavy texture sensation.
Volufiline enables formulators to create a cosmetic lipofilling type effect, improving visual appearance in areas where enhanced softness and fullness are desired.
Application across industries
The active is used in facial creams, serums, neck and décolleté care, bust care products and body care formulations. It is suitable for private label projects and industrial cosmetic manufacturing.
Volufiline combines well with moisturizing actives, emulsion systems, vegetable oils and modern multifunctional ingredients used in advanced skincare systems.
Recipe for creamy Volufiline emulsion for skin care
Chamomile hydrolate 70 ml
Volufiline active 5 ml
Grapeseed oil 10 ml
Cream emulsifier 5 g
Vegetable glycerin 5 ml
To prepare the formulation chamomile hydrolate is placed into a clean container and heated as the water phase. In a separate vessel grapeseed oil and emulsifier are heated until melted. The oil phase is gradually added into the water phase while mixing continuously to obtain a uniform cream texture. During cooling glycerin and Volufiline are added and gently mixed until evenly dispersed. The formulation is then allowed to cool completely before filling or use.
Volufiline is widely used in B2B formulation development due to stability, formulation convenience and scalability for cosmetic production.
