Butylene glycol 40 g
Xanthan gum 4 g

Cetearyl alcohol 18 g

Xanthan gum is dispersed in purified water to form a gel base. Glycerin and butylene glycol are incorporated with mixing until uniform. Jojoba oil and cetearyl alcohol are heated to create an oil phase which is gradually introduced into the aqueous phase forming an emulsion. After the emulsion stabilizes Tinosorb S Aqua dispersion is incorporated with gentle mixing. Arginine is used to adjust pH and stabilize the formulation.
