AMIGEL rheology guide: Sclerotium Gum in gels emulsions and suspensions
AMIGEL rheology guide: Sclerotium Gum in gels emulsions and suspensions
A comprehensive technical formulation guide dedicated to managing rheology in cosmetics using the natural polysaccharide AMIGEL (Sclerotium Gum). This article explores the physical mechanisms of polymer hydration and network formation for structuring clear gels, light emulsions, and particle-suspending fluids. It covers pre-dispersion in polyols, electrolyte stability, shear rate handling, incompatibility limits, thermal limits, and precise pH controls. Features three complete DIY recipes with step-by-step compounding instructions and cold storage standards.
Natpure Film AP: natural film-forming technology for skin color cosmetics and hair
Natpure Film AP: natural film-forming technology for skin color cosmetics and hair
A comprehensive technical formulation guide dedicated to utilizing the bio-based film former Natpure Film AP (derived from sugar cane) in color cosmetics and hair care. This article breaks down the physical mechanics of flexible film creation, moisture resistance, and pigment adhesion enhancement. It covers aqueous dissolution protocols, compatibility with natural polymers and gums, thermal boundaries, and precise pH controls. Features three complete DIY recipes with step-by-step compounding instructions and storage standards.
ViableCare LipoCare 8: integrating a liposomal ceramide complex into barrier-care formulas
ViableCare LipoCare 8: integrating a liposomal ceramide complex into barrier-care formulas
A comprehensive technical formulation guide to designing skin barrier restoration creams and liposomal fluids using ViableCare LipoCare 8. This article breaks down the physiological mechanism of ceramide integration into stratum corneum lipids to stop transepidermal water loss. It details exact processing protocols to protect liposomal structures, low-shear cooling phase entry below thirty degrees Celsius, emulsifier compatibility, and pH boundaries. Features three complete DIY recipes with step-by-step compounding instructions and cold storage standards.
Product Description

Tinosorb S Aqua water dispersible UV filter for sunscreen emulsions and cosmetic systems

Tinosorb S Aqua is a water dispersed form of a modern broad spectrum organic UV filter designed for sunscreen formulations. The ingredient appears as a milky white or slightly opalescent liquid dispersion. The filter is stabilized in an aqueous system using dispersing components which allows easy incorporation into water based and emulsion cosmetic formulations.

Properties and sensory performance

In cosmetic formulations Tinosorb S Aqua contributes to light cream or lotion textures and supports uniform distribution of UV filtering components across the skin surface. Products containing this ingredient maintain stable emulsion structures and smooth sensory properties.

Industry applications

Tinosorb S Aqua is used in sunscreen creams, lotions, emulsions and other cosmetic skin care formulations. The ingredient is applied in professional sunscreen lines, SPA formulations and functional cosmetic systems.

Formula example

Tinosorb S Aqua 60 g
Purified water 430 ml
Glycerin 60 g
Caprylyl glycol 20 g
Carbomer 5 g
Jojoba oil 40 ml
Cetearyl alcohol 20 g
Tromethamine 4 g

Carbomer is dispersed in purified water to form a gel base. Glycerin and caprylyl glycol are incorporated with mixing. Jojoba oil and cetearyl alcohol are heated to form an oil phase which is gradually introduced into the aqueous system forming an emulsion. After the emulsion structure forms Tinosorb S Aqua is incorporated with gentle mixing. Tromethamine is used to adjust the pH and stabilize the formulation.

Tinosorb S Aqua is designed for B2B sunscreen manufacturers, formulation laboratories and contract production facilities. The water dispersion format ensures stable emulsions, reproducible formulation performance and compatibility with scalable industrial manufacturing.
