A Trial-Size Honey and Propolis Blend for Body Care Formulations
This 50 g pack of Honey and Propolis Bath Salt is designed for small-batch testing and home-based formulation work before committing to a larger order. The mineral-rich base sourced from a salt lake is enriched with honey and propolis extracts, both long valued for their softening and nourishing effect on skin. This product belongs to the Bath Salts category, which brings together mineral and aromatic salts for a wide range of cosmetic formulations, from home projects to studio production.
The main application of this raw material lies in body care cosmetics: the salt serves as a base for bath soaks, scrubs, wraps and spa treatments. Mineral salts of this type are known for their content of magnesium, potassium, sodium and bromide compounds, while honey and propolis add a softer feel and pleasant texture once dissolved in water. In the spa and wellness industry, such blends are popular both in independent studios and resort facilities, where natural ingredients and the ability to customize formulas for individual clients matter most. The salt is also used in the production of bath bombs, solid and liquid scrubs, and in household care products aimed at creating a relaxing bathing experience.
This salt pairs well with carrier oils, glycerin, essential oils and other salt varieties — for example, with Rosehip Bath Salt for a more layered fragrance profile, or with Verbena and Rosewood Bath Salt for building blended aromatic compositions. For contrasting textures, formulators often combine it with Himalayan Black Salt Fine Ground, which works well in layered or multi-tone products alongside the honey and propolis blend.
Recommended dosage in scrubs and bath mixtures ranges from 20 to 100 grams of salt per finished portion, depending on the desired concentration and intended use. The salt should be added at the final stage of formulation, once liquid components are already blended, at room temperature or a slightly warmed base not exceeding 40 degrees, to preserve the properties of honey and propolis. Store the salt in a dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight, in a tightly sealed container, to prevent clumping and preserve its texture.
This pack size is well suited for testing new recipes, small gift sets and trial batches before scaling up to larger production runs.
