Product Description
Fighting Sugar-Induced Skin Aging at the Molecular Level
One of the lesser-known causes of skin losing its firmness with age is glycation, a process where sugar molecules bind to collagen and elastin fibers, making them stiff and brittle. RESASSOL AGM was developed specifically to slow this reaction and belongs to the Anti-Age Actives category, a collection of concentrated ingredients built for formulas targeting visible signs of aging. The 25 gram pack size is well suited for home formulation, trial batches and small studio production runs where testing the active before scaling up matters.
The main field of use is cosmetic manufacturing: facial serums, anti-wrinkle creams, eye contour products, ampoule concentrates and intensive treatment masks. Formulators frequently include this active in anti-age lines aimed at mature skin, as well as in preventive skincare designed for people with higher sugar intake, since glycation tends to progress faster under those conditions. It also finds occasional use in recovery formulas meant to restore skin tone after aggressive cosmetic procedures.
RESASSOL AGM pairs well with other anti-age actives. Combining it with Propionibacterium Ferment Lysate strengthens the overall support for skin barrier recovery, while adding Dermochlorella D brings a boost in cellular renewal to the formula. For recipes where microcirculation support and vessel wall strength matter, formulators often introduce Rutin, which acts as an antioxidant partner to the anti-glycation complex.
Recommended usage ranges from 1 to 3 percent of the total formula weight depending on the desired strength of the finished product. The active should be added at the final cooling stage of production, at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, to preserve the activity of its compounds. Avoid reheating the mixture after the active has been added. Store the raw material in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight, in a tightly sealed container, protected from moisture exposure.
