Palmitic Acid 10 g

Palmitic Acid for improving structure and density of cosmetic formulations

Palmitic Acid is a fatty acid used in cosmetic manufacturing to create denser structure in cream and cleansing formulations. The ingredient is widely applied in industrial production of care products due to its ability to stabilize formulations and improve texture characteristics of finished products.

Properties and sensory result in finished products

In cosmetic formulations the ingredient contributes to richer texture, improves product spreading and creates more comfortable skin feel after application. Finished products obtain uniform structure, enhancing sensory perception during use.

Application across industries

Palmitic Acid is applied in creams, lotions, balms, masks, cleansing products, soaps, shampoos and body care formulations. The ingredient is widely used in private label and serial production thanks to compatibility with oils, emulsions and soap systems as well as good storage stability.

The component is incorporated into formulations designed to increase texture density, enhance emulsion stability and stabilize final product structure. It blends well with cream, soap and oil bases while maintaining stability during transportation and storage.

Recipe for hand cream with dense protective texture

Purified water 67 ml
Cream base 24 g
Shea butter 5 g
Palmitic Acid 2 g
Glycerin 2 ml

To prepare the cream, water is heated separately and mixed with melted cream base and shea butter until uniform structure forms. Palmitic acid is pre melted in oil phase and then combined with water phase while mixing until stable texture forms. After cooling, glycerin is added and mixing continues until uniform structure is obtained before filling and storage.

Palmitic Acid is positioned for B2B cosmetic manufacturing supporting texture stability, batch reproducibility and efficient industrial production scaling.
