Formulation Example: Refreshing Starfruit Body Mist

Instructions:

1. In a clean beaker, combine the distilled water and alcohol denat. (Phase A) and mix gently.
2. In a separate clean beaker, combine the Fragrance Oil - Starfruit Zest and Polysorbate 20 (Phase B). Stir gently until the fragrance oil is fully dissolved and the mixture is clear. The amount of Polysorbate 20 may need adjustment to fully solubilize the fragrance oil. A typical ratio is 1:1 to 1:5 (fragrance oil to Polysorbate 20). Start with 1:2 and adjust as needed.
3. Slowly add Phase B to Phase A while gently stirring to ensure even dispersion of the fragrance.
4. Add the preservative (Phase C) and stir gently to incorporate it fully.
5. Carefully pour the finished Starfruit Body Mist into a clean spray bottle.

Application Recommendations:

Spritz the Refreshing Starfruit Body Mist lightly over the body after showering or anytime you desire a burst of fresh, fruity fragrance. Avoid spraying directly onto clothing as alcohol may cause staining. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
