The formulator simply adds water, active ingredients and fragrance to produce a finished product with a pleasant, fast-absorbing texture. This format is popular among small cosmetic workshops, formulation labs and studio producers who work with limited batches of body and hand lotions. The main purpose of Easy Lotion Base is building oil-in-water emulsions with a light, quickly absorbing feel. The base already contains an emulsifying complex and stabilizers, so there is no need to balance phases manually. Dilution is usually done with water at a ratio between one to one and one to three depending on the desired thickness, and mixing can be performed at room temperature or with gentle heating up to 40-50 degrees Celsius for even distribution of active ingredients. This makes the base convenient for small facilities that lack heavy equipment for classic emulsification with separate phase heating.

During lotion production, plant oils, extracts, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, niacinamide and other functional additives are typically introduced once the base is partially diluted with water and reaches a comfortable mixing temperature of around 35-40 degrees. Preservatives and fragrances are added last, at temperatures not exceeding 40 degrees, to keep their stability intact. Recommended dosage for active ingredients usually ranges between 1 and 5 percent of the finished product weight, though exact numbers depend on the specific raw material and desired effect.

Besides classic body lotions, this base is applied in developing hand creams, hydrating facial fluids, after-shave products and light hair emulsions. Studio manufacturers value this base for saving time: instead of several hours of classic emulsification, the process shortens to 20-30 minutes. Warm the base gently to about 35 degrees and gradually add water in small portions while stirring continuously until a uniform emulsion forms. Add jojoba oil, panthenol and niacinamide, mixing at low speed for a few more minutes.
