A trial-size format perfect for first cream formulations
This 25 g cream base is designed for testing new recipes before committing to larger production runs. It belongs to the category of base for cosmetics, cream, serum, shampoo, which remains in steady demand among home crafters, beginner cosmetologists, and small studios wanting to try a new texture without significant investment. The ready-made emulsion base already contains a balanced blend of oil and water phase ingredients, so only active additives need to be introduced for a specific purpose.
The primary application of this base is skincare for face and body: day and night creams, hand creams, and light emulsions for sensitive skin. It is also used in spa product manufacturing, private label cosmetics development, and educational programs focused on formulation. The compact 25 g volume is ideal for allergy patch testing, adjusting active ingredient concentrations, and producing single gift samples.
Working with the base is straightforward: it is warmed in a water bath to around 40-50 degrees Celsius, avoiding overheating that could disrupt the emulsion structure. Once the desired consistency is reached, active components such as plant and essential oils, hyaluronic acid, peptides, extracts, and vitamins are introduced. Most heat-sensitive additives should be added below 40 degrees to preserve their effectiveness. Recommended dosage of active ingredients typically ranges from 1 to 5 percent of the total mass, though exact amounts depend on the specific component and its concentration.
The base pairs well with other foundational products in the range, such as the Easy Lotion Base 1 L when blending textures is needed for an intermediate consistency, or the smaller Easy Lotion Base 100 ml for additional trial batches. For lighter gel textures or combined formulas, many formulators turn to Botanical Gel Base 100 g, which expands the range of test samples without overspending on raw material.
Store the base in a tightly sealed container, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. After opening, use the product within a few months, maintaining hygiene when scooping material to avoid microbial contamination. The finished cream made from this base should also be kept refrigerated if the formula includes natural additives without long-acting preservatives.
The product suits not only skincare formulation but also adjacent fields such as creating cream bases for color cosmetics, and occasionally it is tested by soap makers for preparing creamy additions to their handmade items.
