Create a beautifully rich yet fast-absorbing hydrating face cream using MONTANOV™ 68, perfect for daily use on all skin types.

Instructions for Preparation:

1. Sanitize: Thoroughly sanitize all your equipment (heat-resistant beakers, stirring rods, pH meter, cream jars) with isopropyl alcohol and allow them to air dry completely.
2. Prepare Phases A & B: In separate heat-resistant beakers, combine the ingredients for Phase A (water and glycerin) and Phase B (MONTANOV™ 68, jojoba oil, shea butter, and cetyl alcohol).
3. Heat Phases: Gently heat both Phase A and Phase B in a double boiler or microwave (in short bursts, stirring frequently) to approximately 70-75°C (158-167°F). Ensure all solid ingredients in Phase B are fully melted.
4. Emulsification: Slowly pour Phase A (water phase) into Phase B (oil phase) while continuously stirring with a stick blender or high-shear mixer. Blend for 2-3 minutes to create a stable emulsion. The mixture will start to turn opaque and thicken.
5. Cool Down: Continue stirring occasionally as the emulsion cools down. This helps create a uniform texture and prevents separation.
6. Add Phase C (Cool-Down): Once the emulsion has cooled to below 40°C (104°F), add the panthenol, vitamin E, preservative, and optional fragrance oil. Stir thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
