Recipe

Basic stabilizing gel with carrageenan

Purified water 880 ml
Carrageenan 9 g
Glycerin 60 ml
Cucumber extract 25 ml
Panthenol 20 ml
Preservative system 4 ml
pH regulator 2 ml

Process

Carrageenan is dispersed in glycerin and added to the heated water phase under continuous mixing until hydration occurs. After gel formation the system is cooled and active components are incorporated followed by stabilization.
