Product Description
Calendula Glycolic Extract Functional Botanical Component for Industrial Manufacturing
Calendula glycolic extract is a botanical extract derived from Calendula officinalis using glycol extraction, applied as a functional ingredient in industrial processes. It integrates into water based and hybrid formulation systems as an active or intermediate raw material. It demonstrates high compatibility with hydrophilic components, polymers and emulsions. Used in food production, cosmetics, fragrance and contract manufacturing. Provides stable behavior during processing and uniform phase distribution.
Functional properties and role in formulation
The extract acts as a botanical functional ingredient distributed in aqueous phase systems. It contributes to structural integrity and formulation stability. It interacts with polymers and stabilizers affecting rheology. During dispersion it ensures uniform distribution of active compounds. It is used as a base for complex extracts and intermediate processing.
Properties and effect on final product
In finished products it supports uniform texture and structural stability. In liquid systems it maintains clarity. In gels and creams it ensures consistency. In food applications it contributes to plant based profiles. In SPA and fragrance products it enhances formulation complexity. In cleaning systems it supports natural positioning. Provides stable performance under controlled conditions.
Application
Calendula glycolic extract is used across industries. In Food & Beverage it is applied in functional beverages and flavor systems. In cosmetics it is used in skincare and hair care. In SPA and aromatherapy it is used in compositions. In cleaning it is used in natural formulations. In pharmaceutical and nutraceutical production it is used as botanical raw material. In fragrance it is used in compositions. In private label manufacturing it is a versatile ingredient.
Recipe Calendula Hydrogel Industrial System
Calendula glycolic extract — 60 ml
Rose hydrolate — 405 ml
Hydroxyethylcellulose — 6 g
Glycerin — 25 ml
Preservative system — 3 ml
The process begins with hydroxyethylcellulose dispersion in the aqueous phase under continuous mixing until full hydration. Glycerin is added with mixing to stabilize the system. The hydrolate is incorporated to form the base structure. At temperatures below 30 degrees the calendula extract is introduced with uniform distribution. The preservative system is then added followed by mixing until stabilization. Final mixing ensures a uniform hydrogel with stable structure.
Manufacturing stability and scalability
The extract is stable under controlled storage conditions. It is easily scalable in industrial production. Provides consistent batch reproducibility and is widely used as a versatile botanical ingredient in B2B manufacturing.
