Why Strawberry Concentrate Suits Bulk Cosmetic and Food Manufacturing
Strawberry Extract Concentrate supplied in a 1 liter volume falls under the category of Extract Concentrates and is designed primarily for production lines that require a consistent volume of raw material with predictable characteristics from batch to batch. This packaging format targets workshops and laboratories manufacturing cosmetics, beverages, confectionery and household chemical goods on a regular basis rather than for single trial batches. Strawberry concentrate is valued for its rich berry aroma and its ability to give a product a recognizable, appealing character, which is why it is widely purchased by manufacturers of body creams, lotions, shampoos, shower gels, as well as syrups, fillings, desserts and drinks.
In the food industry strawberry concentrate is used to flavor yogurts, ice cream, candy, baked goods and soft drinks — in this sector it remains one of the most in-demand berry components worldwide thanks to its recognizable taste and relatively lower cost compared to fresh berries. In the cosmetic industry the extract is introduced into body cream, balm, mask and shampoo formulas, where it works as an aromatic and toning component, giving the product a light fruity accent. In perfumery and household chemistry strawberry concentrate is applied to create fruity notes in fragrances for gels, powders and air fresheners.
For industrial production it is important to follow correct dosage: strawberry concentrate is typically introduced in the range of 0.5 to 3 percent of the total formula weight, with the exact figure depending on the desired fragrance intensity and product type. It is recommended to add the extract at the final stage of production, once the main emulsion or base has already formed and the mixture temperature has dropped to 35-40 degrees Celsius — this preserves volatile aromatic compounds and prevents their breakdown under high heat. The concentrate pairs well with other plant extracts: in combined skin care lines it is often complemented with lingonberry extract to enhance the toning effect, and with St. John's wort extract to build more complex multi-component formulas. In strengthening serums and lotions strawberry concentrate is sometimes combined with alfalfa extract to obtain a product with a broader effect on the skin.
When working with the 1 liter volume it is important to maintain proper storage conditions: keep the container tightly sealed, in a dark, cool place away from direct sunlight and heat sources, so the aroma and active compounds remain stable throughout the entire usage period. After each withdrawal of raw material for a production batch, the cap should be closed tightly to minimize air contact. This approach ensures consistent quality across regular large withdrawals on conveyor production lines and allows technologists to accurately predict the outcome of every new batch.
