Instructions:

1. Melt the Butters and Oils: In a heat-resistant beaker, combine the shea butter, sweet almond oil, and emulsifying wax. Heat gently in a double boiler or microwave until completely melted.
2. Heat the Water: In a separate heat-resistant beaker, heat the distilled water to approximately the same temperature as the oil phase.
3. Emulsify: Slowly pour the heated water into the oil phase while continuously stirring vigorously with a hand blender or whisk until a smooth emulsion forms.
4. Cool Down: Remove the mixture from the heat and continue stirring gently as it cools down.
5. Add Extract and Preservative: Once the mixture has cooled to below 40°C (104°F), add the pistachio aromatic extract and the preservative. Stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
