Rich floral cassia wax for warm perfume blends and small-batch formulations
Cassia wax belongs to the family of natural flower waxes obtained by extracting cassia blossoms with volatile solvents that are later removed from the concentrate. The result is a dense aromatic mass with a warm, honeyed, floral character that perfumers and cosmetic formulators value for its depth and lasting power on the skin or in a burning candle. In our catalog this ingredient is placed within the Waxes for cosmetics section, alongside structural waxes for creams and other aromatic floral extracts used across the fragrance and personal care industries.
The strongest global demand for cassia wax comes from the fragrance industry, where it is used as a raw material for oriental, floral and gourmand accords, lending warmth and a velvety softness to a composition. It typically develops in the heart and base notes, contributing tones reminiscent of honey, violet and soft powder. Beyond perfumery, cassia wax is also used in scented candle making, where its dense structure supports an even burn with a rich fragrance throw. In skincare and personal care formulations, small percentages of the wax are added to balms, creams and solid perfumes to give products a natural floral scent without relying on synthetic fragrance oils.
The 10 g size is intended for home formulators, hobbyists and small studios testing fragrance blends or preparing trial batches before scaling up production. This quantity is enough to explore how cassia wax interacts with other raw materials and to fine-tune dosage before moving to larger volumes. For more frequent use and bigger production runs, the catalog also offers Cassia wax, 100 g, the same aromatic base in a more economical size.
Cassia wax is best incorporated at the stage of building the base of a formulation: it can be dissolved in alcohol or blended with other waxes and oils under gentle heating around 40-50 degrees Celsius, avoiding overheating that could alter the fragrance profile. In cosmetic recipes the usual dosage ranges from 1 to 5 percent of the total mass, while in perfumery the amount is adjusted individually depending on the desired intensity. Cassia wax pairs particularly well with other floral waxes, such as Narcissus Flower Wax 10 g, allowing for layered floral accords, and it balances nicely against green or herbal notes, an effect achieved by adding Green Tea Wax 100 g, which freshens and offsets the sweetness of cassia.
Store cassia wax in a tightly closed container, away from direct sunlight and temperature fluctuations, in a cool dark place to preserve the stability of its aromatic compounds over time. If the wax becomes too firm to measure, gently warm the container in a water bath before use.

Sweet almond oil 8 g
Melt
the beeswax in a water bath at around 60 degrees Celsius, then stir in the
jojoba oil and sweet almond oil until fully combined. Remove from heat, allow
the mixture to cool to about 45 degrees, and blend in the cassia wax until it
