Stable mineral base for oil and emulsion systems
Mineral oil also known as Paraffinum Liquidum or White Mineral Oil is a highly refined hydrocarbon raw material used as a base component in formulation systems. It provides stability uniform distribution and predictable performance. Due to its inert nature it does not react with active ingredients and remains stable in complex formulations. It withstands temperatures above 100°C making it suitable for industrial processes. Compatible with a wide range of ingredients including oils waxes and silicones.
Behavior in formulations
Does not oxidize and maintains properties during processing. Acts as a carrier and stabilizer in oil phase. Supports uniform distribution and reduces phase separation.
Mineral Oil Base belongs to the selection of Bulk Liquid Oils. Check also our for further options.
Texture formation
Provides smooth texture and improves spreadability. Reduces evaporation and stabilizes formulations. Used as a carrier for aromatic compounds.
Areas of application
Used in cosmetics pharmaceuticals food processing and home care products. Applied in creams balms oils and industrial formulations.
Incorporation into formulations
Added to oil phase during heating or cold mixing. Usage level from 5% to 100%. Fully compatible with most systems.
