Blended Plant Oils for Formulating Skin Care Aimed at Breakouts and Excess Oil
The ACNE base oil blend, supplied in a 1 liter volume, belongs to the category of Blended Base Oils, which brings together ready-made plant oil combinations designed for specific skin care tasks. A liter-scale format is intended for labs, cosmetic workshops and studios that regularly prepare batches of serums, oils and creams for blemish-prone skin, where consistency of the blend from batch to batch and predictable behavior in a formula really matter.
The main application of this blend is skin care for the face and body prone to excess oil, enlarged pores, localized inflammation, blackheads and post-breakout marks. The blend serves as a base for spot treatments, serums, after-cleansing facial oils, hydrosol-based mists, clay masks, and as the oil phase of cream emulsions. Beyond skin care and color cosmetics, similar plant oil blends are widely used in the spa industry, in professional cosmetology for salons, and in men's grooming lines, where mattifying and balancing properties are particularly valued.
The blend pairs well with tea tree, lavender and rosemary essential oils, with white and blue clay, calendula and green tea extracts, and with zinc in mattifying formulas. Before scaling up to a full liter batch for continuous production, it is practical to test concentrations on a small trial run using Anti Acne Oil Blend, 20 g, which allows formulators to refine a recipe without committing a large volume of raw material.
Recommended dosage in creams and emulsions is around 5 to 15 grams per 100 grams of finished product, while in serums and oil blends the share may reach 30 to 50 grams per 100 grams of base, and for spot application the blend can be used undiluted. It is introduced into the oil phase of an emulsion or the cool-down phase of a finished formula at a temperature not exceeding 40-45 degrees Celsius to preserve volatile and heat-sensitive components.
When building a complete skin care line, manufacturers often add complementary products, such as After Sun Body Oil, 50 ml for the final step of body care, or Natural Oil Complex for Nail, 5 ml to offer a complete routine covering skin and nail care within one range.
The blend should be stored in a tightly closed container made of dark glass or opaque plastic, in a cool place away from direct sunlight and heat sources, avoiding any water contact when the product is drawn from the container, which helps preserve shelf life and formula stability.
