Product Description
ResistHyal functional active for controlled hydration matrix formation
ResistHyal is a technology driven cosmetic ingredient used as a raw material in formulation systems designed to create controlled hydration matrices and improve structural stability. This functional ingredient is applied in manufacturing as part of an active system that ensures uniform moisture distribution and texture consistency. It shows strong compatibility with emulsifier systems, stabilizers and rheology modifiers, making it suitable for complex formulation design. ResistHyal integrates into systems without disrupting phase balance and supports stable performance under different processing conditions.
Functional properties and role
ResistHyal builds a structured hydration matrix within formulation systems. It regulates water phase distribution and supports moisture retention throughout the system. It stabilizes interaction between active ingredients and prevents uneven distribution. It does not affect rheology and remains compatible with preservatives such as Phenoxyethanol and Euxyl PE 9010. It performs efficiently in both gel and emulsion systems.
Properties and result
In finished products ResistHyal provides stable texture and balanced moisture retention. It helps prevent dehydration of the formulation and maintains structural integrity. When combined with Carbomer or Xanthan Gum it enhances stability and prevents separation. This results in consistent product performance and predictable behavior.
Purpose
The ingredient is designed to create stable hydration systems and control moisture distribution. It enables development of formulations with consistent performance and improved structural stability.
Application
The main segment is cosmetic manufacturing including creams, gels and serums. In hair care it is used in moisturizing systems. In cleaning formulations it reduces surfactant harshness. In fragrance products it supports stability. In SPA applications it is used in professional care. It is widely used in contract manufacturing and private label production.
Recipe Hydration cream gel with controlled matrix
Water — 70 ml
ResistHyal — 3 g
Olivem 1000 — 5 g
Caprylic Capric Triglyceride — 9 ml
Glycerin — 5 ml
Xanthan Gum — 0.4 g
Panthenol — 2 g
Euxyl PE 9010 — 0.8 g
Xanthan gum is dispersed in the water phase followed by heating. The oil phase is prepared separately. After combining phases homogenization is performed to create a stable structure. The active ingredient and panthenol are added at lower temperature with continuous mixing. Preservative is added at the final stage followed by stabilization.
Manufacturing stability
ResistHyal ensures stable production scaling and batch consistency. It withstands mechanical processing and temperature variation while maintaining formulation integrity and product quality.
