Product Description
Vegetable spermaceti emollient for creams and protective skin care products
Vegetable spermaceti is a plant derived cosmetic ingredient used in production of creams and balms to create smooth and stable textures. The component is incorporated into formulations as an alternative to traditional wax materials helping to form dense yet comfortable cream systems widely used in modern skin care formulations.
Properties and skin appearance outcome
In cosmetic formulations the ingredient contributes to formation of smooth texture allowing products to spread evenly across skin while creating comfortable cared appearance after application. Products containing this component provide pleasant coverage while maintaining lightweight sensory feel.
In products designed for dry skin areas the ingredient supports formation of richer textures contributing to soft skin feel after application.
Application across industries
Vegetable spermaceti is widely used in facial and body creams, protective hand creams, nourishing balms, products for dry skin, baby care cosmetics, after bath products and universal care formulations. The ingredient is broadly adopted in private label and industrial production thanks to its ability to improve cream texture performance.
The component is incorporated to increase texture density, improve spreadability and stabilize cream systems. It is compatible with oils, emulsifiers and various cosmetic actives allowing development of diverse skin care products.
Recipe for protective hand cream with popular formulation ingredients
Purified water 55 ml
Vegetable glycerin 6 ml
Shea butter 8 g
Sweet almond oil 7 ml
Emulsifier Olivem 1000 7 g
Vegetable spermaceti 5 g
Panthenol 4 ml

Glycerin is dissolved in purified water forming uniform water phase. Oil phase containing shea butter, sweet almond oil, Olivem 1000 and vegetable spermaceti is heated separately until components melt completely. Both phases are combined under mixing to create cream emulsion. After partial cooling panthenol is incorporated followed by preservative and fragrance while mixing continues until stable cream texture is achieved spreading comfortably across skin.
Vegetable spermaceti is positioned for B2B cosmetic manufacturing supporting formulation stability, reproducible textures and scalable production processes.
