Polygreen Sensolive is combined with olive oil, jojoba oil, cetearyl alcohol and beeswax and heated until the lipid phase melts completely. In a separate vessel purified water and glycerin are heated. Once both phases reach similar temperature the oil phase is slowly incorporated into the aqueous phase under continuous mixing to form an emulsion. The system is mixed during cooling until a stable creamy texture develops. Finally the preservative system is incorporated and pH is adjusted to a balanced range suitable for cosmetic emulsions.
