Cosmetic Recipe: Romantic Body Lotion with "Love Letter" Fragrance

Instructions:

1. Prepare Phase A: In a heat-resistant beaker, combine Distilled Water and Vegetable Glycerin. Heat gently to 70-75°C (158-167°F) in a double boiler or microwave.
2. Prepare Phase B: In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine Emulsifying Wax NF, Sweet Almond Oil, and Shea Butter. Heat gently to 70-75°C (158-167°F) until the wax is fully melted and ingredients are combined.
3. Emulsify: Slowly pour Phase B into Phase A while continuously mixing with a stick blender or high-shear mixer. Blend vigorously for 3-5 minutes until a uniform emulsion forms.
4. Cooling & Adding Phase C: Continue mixing intermittently while the emulsion cools. When the temperature drops below 40°C (104°F), add Fragrance Oil "Love Letter", Liquid Germall Plus (or your chosen preservative), and Vitamin E. Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
5. Optional Thickening (Phase D): If desired, pre-disperse Xanthan Gum in a small amount of glycerin or a portion of the oil phase before adding it to the cooled emulsion. Mix well until fully incorporated and the desired thickness is achieved.
6. Final Steps: Once cooled to room temperature, transfer the finished lotion into clean, sanitized bottles or jars.
