2. Prepare Phase B: In a separate heat-resistant beaker, combine emulsifying wax, sweet almond oil, and shea butter. Heat to 70-75°C (158-167°F) until all ingredients are completely melted and clear.
3. Emulsify: Slowly pour Phase B into Phase A while continuously mixing with a high-shear mixer (stick blender) until a smooth, uniform emulsion forms. Continue mixing as the lotion cools to prevent separation.
4. Cool Down: Continue mixing until the lotion cools to approximately 40°C (104°F). This is crucial before adding heat-sensitive ingredients.
5. Add Phase C: Add Fragrance Oil "Love Letter" and the preservative to the cooled lotion. Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
6. Add Phase D: Add Allantoin and Panthenol. Mix well until fully incorporated.
7. Final Check: Perform a pH test and adjust if necessary (typically aiming for a pH between 4.5 and 6.5 for skin compatibility).
8. Bottle: Transfer the finished "Love Letter" Scented Body Lotion into clean, sanitized bottles or jars.
