Product Description
Nizaftem perfluorocarbon oxygen carrier for cosmetic formulations
Nizaftem is a cosmetic ingredient based on perfluorocarbon compounds. Perfluorocarbon molecules are formed by replacing hydrogen atoms in organic structures with fluorine atoms. This transformation creates a class of weakly polar substances with unique physicochemical characteristics. Perfluorocarbon liquids are capable of dissolving significant volumes of gases including oxygen.
The oxygen solubility in liquid perfluorocarbon systems may reach approximately fifty volume percent which is considerably higher than oxygen solubility in water. Because of this property perfluorocarbon liquids are used in cosmetic formulations as technological components with high gas solubility.
Nizaftem appears as a clear or slightly opalescent liquid with neutral odor. The ingredient is chemically inert and compatible with a wide range of cosmetic raw materials. Low polarity allows the material to retain dissolved gases and distribute evenly within emulsion systems. The liquid format provides convenient dosing and stable performance in industrial cosmetic production.
Properties and skin performance
In cosmetic formulations Nizaftem contributes to a lightweight texture and uniform distribution of formulation components. Products containing this ingredient provide a fresh sensory profile and smooth spreading during application. Emulsion systems maintain balanced texture and structural stability.
Industry applications
Nizaftem is used in creams, serums, gels and emulsion based skincare formulations. It is incorporated in eye area products, formulations designed for sensitive skin and post shave cosmetic products. The ingredient is also used in decorative cosmetic formulations and bath and shower products where stable texture and lightweight sensory profile are required. Nizaftem is suitable for functional cosmetic lines, private label development and contract manufacturing.
Formula example oxygen emulsion serum
Nizaftem 25 ml
Caprylic triglycerides 50 ml
Jojoba oil 40 ml
Olive derived emulsifier 15 g
Glycerin 45 g
Purified water 800 ml
Green tea extract 15 g
Preservative system 2 g
The oil phase is prepared by combining caprylic triglycerides, jojoba oil and the emulsifier and heating until a uniform mixture forms. Nizaftem is then incorporated and evenly distributed within the lipid phase. In a separate vessel the aqueous phase is prepared by mixing purified water and glycerin. The oil and water phases are combined under intensive mixing to form a stable emulsion. After cooling green tea extract and the preservative system are added. The pH is adjusted to a balanced level suitable for emulsion stability. The final product is a lightweight serum with uniform texture.
Nizaftem is designed for B2B cosmetic manufacturers developing advanced functional formulations. The ingredient provides formulation stability, compatibility with industrial processing and reproducible performance in scalable cosmetic production.
