Product Description
Lysine amino acid ingredient for cosmetic formulation development
Lysine is an amino acid widely used in development of modern cosmetic and technological formulations. The ingredient belongs to a group of amino acids incorporated into different cosmetic systems and functional complexes. Lysine can be integrated into aqueous solutions, gel based textures and emulsion formulations, making it a convenient ingredient for laboratory formulation development and industrial production. Due to compatibility with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients the amino acid is commonly used in development of serums, creams, gels and other skin care formulations. Lysine can be incorporated into complex ingredient systems and modern formulation technologies. The raw material is used in private label cosmetic projects, contract manufacturing and industrial production of cosmetic products. Lysine is commonly used by formulation laboratories and cosmetic manufacturers in development of new ingredient systems and cosmetic formulations.
Properties and formulation interaction
Within cosmetic formulations Lysine functions as an amino acid ingredient integrated into different cosmetic textures. In creams, serums and gel based systems the ingredient distributes evenly throughout the formulation matrix and becomes part of the ingredient complex. In aqueous and emulsion systems Lysine can be easily incorporated into the formulation structure.
Applications across industries
Lysine is used in development of skin care formulations including creams, serums, gels and cosmetic masks. In hair care products the ingredient may be incorporated into shampoos, conditioners and hair masks. In body care formulations Lysine may be used in different cosmetic compositions. In SPA formulations the ingredient may be incorporated into professional cosmetic systems. In formulation laboratories Lysine is used in development of cosmetic formulations and amino acid complexes. The ingredient may also be incorporated into ingredient systems for functional products, beverages and botanical complexes. Lysine is suitable for private label development, contract manufacturing and industrial production.
Recipe for amino acid cosmetic gel
Distilled water — 70 ml
Rosemary hydrosol — 15 ml
Glycerin — 8 ml
Lysine — 3 g
Panthenol — 2 ml
Green tea extract — 1 ml
Cosmetic preservative — 1 ml
Preparation process
Distilled water is combined with rosemary hydrosol to form the aqueous base of the formulation. Glycerin is incorporated and mixed until evenly distributed. Lysine is dissolved in the water phase until fully integrated within the formulation system. Panthenol is added and blended until the mixture becomes homogeneous. Green tea extract is incorporated and the formulation is mixed until a stable gel texture suitable for cosmetic manufacturing is obtained. At the final stage the preservative is added and the formulation is blended until a stable cosmetic product ready for production is achieved.
