A palm-free option for building lightweight body and face emulsions
Dermofeel GSC Palm Oil Free 1 kg belongs to the Emulsifiers
category and is a self-emulsifying complex of plant origin manufactured without any palm-derived raw materials. This matters for brands that want to build an environmentally conscious label and avoid ingredients linked to deforestation concerns. The 1 kg pack size fits studio and small-scale industrial manufacturing well, giving formulators a steady supply for regular production runs of creams, lotions and milks without frequent reordering of small containers.
The main use of this emulsifier is building oil-in-water emulsions for skin care: daily and night creams, moisturizing lotions, sun care products, baby care lines and formulas for sensitive skin where a gentle, non-greasy feel is essential. The material creates a light texture with smooth glide and performs reliably across a broad oil phase range, roughly from 5 to 25 percent, giving chemists flexibility when designing products of different densities. It pairs well with plant oils, silicone alternatives and natural thickeners, which allows building fully plant-based formulas without synthetic surfactants.
It is typically added to the oil phase at around 70-75 degrees Celsius, after which the oil and water phases are combined at similar temperatures and homogenized until a smooth, stable emulsion forms. Standard usage rates run from 3 to 6 percent of total formula weight depending on the desired viscosity and fat content. To boost stability and improve sensory feel, many manufacturers combine it with additional co-emulsifiers such as Olivem 1000, which strengthens resistance to temperature fluctuations and gives a richer, creamier body to the finished product. It also works nicely alongside plant-based Lecithin, which further softens skin feel and supports penetration of active ingredients, while Plantsoft Oil adds a velvety finish for formulas focused on natural emolliency.
Beyond mid-range and premium skin care, this type of emulsifier is used in spa body treatment lines, professional salon products and household formulations where a soft, non-tacky texture without any filmy residue is required. Store the material in a dry, cool place in a tightly sealed container, away from direct sunlight and moisture, at room temperature, avoiding sharp temperature swings that could affect the consistency of the raw material.

Heat
the water phase to 75 degrees Celsius and heat the oil phase with both
emulsifiers separately to the same temperature, then slowly pour the water
phase into the oil phase while stirring continuously until a smooth, uniform
emulsion forms. Once the mixture cools to about 40 degrees, blend in the
glycerin and preservative, mix thoroughly until fully combined, and transfer
into clean containers for later use.
