Cosmetic Recipe: Silky Leave-in Hair Conditioner

Instructions:

1. In a heat-resistant beaker, combine the distilled water and Cetearyl Alcohol. Heat to 70-75°C, stirring until the Cetearyl Alcohol is completely melted.
2. In a separate heat-resistant beaker, heat the Varisoft EQ 65 and Jojoba Oil to 70-75°C, stirring gently.
3. Slowly pour the oil phase (step 2) into the water phase (step 1) while continuously mixing with a stick blender or high-shear mixer until a smooth emulsion forms.
4. Remove from heat and continue stirring gently as the emulsion cools.
5. Once the emulsion has cooled below 40°C, add the Vegetable Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Protein, Panthenol, Preservative, and Fragrance Oil (if using).
6. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
7. Adjust the pH if necessary (typically target a slightly acidic pH for hair care).
8. Transfer the leave-in conditioner to a clean bottle or container.
