INCI: Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1. This lipophilic peptide consists of a tripeptide linked with palmitic acid, improving its compatibility with cosmetic formulations and supporting efficient incorporation into both water-based and emulsion systems. Biopeptide CL is widely selected for premium skin care products where advanced peptide technology plays a central role in product development.
Globally, Biopeptide CL is primarily used in the production of anti age serums, facial creams, concentrated treatments, emulsions and professional cosmetic products. It is commonly incorporated into formulations designed for facial skin, neck, décolleté and eye contour care, as well as intensive skin care programs and professional salon treatments. Signal peptides have become especially popular in European, South Korean and Japanese cosmetic manufacturing, where peptide technology represents one of the fastest-growing sectors of cosmetic innovation.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 belongs to the family of signal peptides widely used in modern skin care formulations intended to support a smoother, healthier-looking complexion. The ingredient is valued for its excellent compatibility with other cosmetic actives, its ability to enhance the sensory profile of finished formulations and its suitability for lightweight daily skin care products. Its high formulation stability allows Biopeptide CL to be incorporated into creams, gels, emulsions and aqueous cosmetic systems.
Biopeptide CL is extensively used in day creams, night creams, facial serums, eye contour creams, sheet masks, lifting emulsions, concentrated treatments, moisturizing products, post-treatment cosmetics and professional SPA formulations. The ingredient is suitable for both professional cosmetic manufacturing and premium home care formulations.
The peptide demonstrates excellent compatibility with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, additional cosmetic peptides, collagen, elastin, ceramides, ectoin, panthenol, allantoin, coenzyme Q10, amino acids, hydrolyzed proteins, antioxidants, Vitamins A, C and E, botanical extracts, emollients, advanced moisturizing complexes and modern emulsifying systems. This versatility enables formulators to develop multifunctional cosmetic products with sophisticated active ingredient combinations and excellent formulation stability.
The recommended dosage generally ranges from 2 ml to 20 ml per 1000 ml of finished formulation, depending on the product category and the desired concentration of active ingredients. To preserve maximum peptide stability, Biopeptide CL should be incorporated during the final manufacturing stage at temperatures below 40 °C.
For optimum quality, Biopeptide CL should be stored in tightly sealed original containers protected from direct sunlight, excessive humidity and elevated temperatures. Proper storage conditions help maintain the stability and functional performance of the peptide throughout its intended shelf life.
